2023 (FC Cincinnati): Made 10 appearances, logging 225 minutes on two starts with the first-team … made his MLS debut at TQL Stadium in a 3-0 win over Toronto on June 21 … picked up his first career assist on August 26 in a 3-0 win over NYC … with FC Cincinnati 2, appeared in 17 games, all starts … scored his lone goal of the season in a 2-1 win over Philadelphia Union 2 on June 4 … was tied for first in assists on FCC2 with four.
2021-2022 (Real Salt Lake): Registered three appearances in 2022 in MLS NEXT Pro with RSL’s second team, Real Monarchs after playing in 19 matches when the club was still part of the USL Championship in 2021.
College (University of Virginia): Halsey, a two-time ACC All-Tournament recipient, appeared in 31 matches, all starts, during his three seasons with the Cavaliers, including eight this past fall playing every minute of every match. During the 2019 campaign he played in 22 of the 24 matches on Virginia’s way to the NCAA National Championship final where they eventually fell in penalty kicks to Georgetown. The University of Virginia defender is a Generation Adidas player, a joint venture between Major League Soccer and U.S. Soccer, meaning should he be rostered he will not count against the team’s senior roster.
