Orr enters his first season with Toronto FC, after he was acquired on loan from Blackburn Rovers F.C. on Friday, January 24, 2014. Most recently Orr spent time on loan from Blackburn at English Championship side, Blackpool F.C. He began his career at Newcastle United and was sent on loan to Burnley F.C in 2004. At the conclusion of his loan, Orr signed with Bristol City F.C. and went on to make 235 total appearances for the club. In the summer of 2010, Orr signed with Queens Park Rangers F.C. (QPR) and helped the club gain promotion into the English Premier League that same season. He remained with QPR until transferring to Blackburn in January 2012. He made 34 appearances for Blackburn before going on two separate loans to Ipswich Town F.C. and finally to Blackpool.
