ForwardLopez became the fifth player to graduate from the RSL-Arizona Academy to the first-team when he signed with the Claret-and-Cobalt in the summer of 2013. Lopez didn’t see any action with the big club last year, but did make four appearances for the RSL Reserves, scoring his lone tally in the Reserves’ 3-2 win over Vancouver Whitecaps FC Reserves on July 16, 2013.
The U.S. U-20 international will look to continue his growth as a young professional in Salt Lake City, where he will continue to compete for playing time with the RSL Reserves.
