Andreas Samaris

CURRENT CLUB: Olympiacos (Greece)

Andreas Samaris is a central midfielder who can play as an attacking midfielder or in a more defensive role. His first three international appearances all came during World Cup qualifying.

GREEK NATIONAL TEAM

Samaris made his international debut in October 2013 against Liechtenstein.

CLUB CAREER

After starting his career with Panachaiki and playing three seasons with the club, Samaris joined Panionios in 2009 and made 70 appearances for the club before moving on to Olympiacos prior to the 2013-14 season. He scored four goals for them this season.
