2013: Loaned by Bologna F.C. to the Impact on January 4.

2011/2012: Played one MLS Reserve League game with the San Jose Earthquakes, following a trial with the club… Played with A.C. Prato, in Italy’s third division, following a loan by Bologna, where he scored 11 goals in 25 games… Participated in the Impact’s post-season tour in Italy.

2010/2011: Played one Coppa Italia game with Bologna F.C. and scored two goals in six games with its Primavera.

2009/2010: Transferred to first division side Bologna F.C. for 800,000 €, where he recorded one assist in two Serie A games.

2008/2009: Scored two goals in 11 Serie B games, including six starts, with Parma F.C., helping the club finish second in the league and earn promotion to Serie A… Also played two Coppa Italia games.

2007/2008: Finished tied for third on Parma F.C. with four goals, adding three assists in 26 games and 2,015 minutes of play, including 25 starts, in Serie A.

2006/2007: Registered one assist in 19 games and 1,309 minutes of play, including 15 starts, in Serie A with Parma F.C…. Also played five UEFA Cup games, including both games in the knockout stage against S.C. Braga.

2005/2006: Scored one goal in eight games, including six starts, in Serie A with Parma F.C… Missed most of the season due to an injury.

2004/2005: Signed with Parma F.C. in the Italian first division, scoring one goal in 16 Serie A games… Helped the team reach the UEFA Cup semi-final, scoring three goals in 10 games.

2003/2004: Scored one goal in 14 games with Hellas Verona in Serie B before being loaned to Italian third division club A.S. Varese, where he recorded one goal in 13 games.

2002/2003: Scored one goal in 12 games with Hellas Verona in Serie B.

2001/2002: Played with Hellas Verona in Serie A.

2000/2001: Began the season with Cagliari before being transferred to Hellas Verona in Serie A in January.

1999/2000: Played 11 games with A.C. Siena in the Italian third division, following a loan from Cagliari.

1998/1999: Made his professional debut in Serie A at 16-years-old, on September 20, when Cagliari faced Juventus… Played two regular season games.  

INTERNATIONAL
Played six games with the Italian U18 National Team… Also played with the Italian U16 & U17 National Teams.

YOUTH
Part of Cagliari’s youth academy, his hometown, between 1996 and 1998, where he was considered as one of the most promising young players in Italian football.
