Hack joins New York after spending the last season with Al-Qadsiah FC, where he made 28 appearances for the club and scored one goal. He won the First Division League with the club during the 2023-24 season. Before that, Hack played for eight years at 1.FSV Mainz 05, where he made 145 appearances and record eight goals and three assists. During his time with Mainz, he was managed by current New York Red Bulls Head Coach Sandro Schwarz and played the most games (68) for any Coach he has played under in his career. Hack also played for SpVgg Unterhaching for two seasons, where he made 29 appearances and scored one goal. He began his professional career with FC Memmingen in 2012 and played two seasons making 34 appearances. Hack played his youth soccer with TSV 1860 Munich.

He has featured for Germany Youth National Teams during his career. He made his debut for the U-20’s on September 6, 2013, against Poland U-20’s. He made four appearances total for the U-20’s.
