Minnesota United acquired central midfielder Alejandro Bran via a one-year loan, with an option to buy, from CS Herediano of the Costa Rican Primera Division in January 2024.
Bran played in 18 matches across both Primera Division and Concacaf Central American Cup competitions during the 2023/24 campaign with Herediano. In over 1,300 minutes played for Herediano, Bran scored three goals and provided two assists.
INTERNATIONAL: Bran represents Costa Rica and has earned four call-ups, and has been capped six times notably playing significant time in both legs of the Quarterfinals of the Concacaf Nations League Finals in November 2023. He additionally made appearances in international friendlies against Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in September of 2023, along with a substitute appearance against El Salvador in 2021.
