Adlene Guedioura is a physical, two-way central midfielder with a powerful right-footed shot and a strong tendency to push up into the attack.

ALGERIAN NATIONAL TEAM

After making the 23-man squad in 2010, Guedioura made an appearance in each of Algeria’s World Cup group games against Slovenia, England and the USA.

Despite 28 caps with Algeria as of May, Guedioura lost his starting spot due to injuries and lack of playing time.

CLUB CAREER

Guedioura made the jump from the French lower divisions to the Belgian first division. He was spotted by English Premier League club, Wolverhampton Wanderers and subsequently went on loan to second-division side Nottingham Forest. Eighteen months later, he returned to the EPL when he earned a transfer to Crystal Palace on a three-year deal.
