Mena, 23, looks to enter the professional ranks following five years at the University of Notre Dame. During his time with the Fighting Irish, the 5-foot-10, 145-pound midfielder appeared in 55 matches, registering six goals and five assists before suffering a season-ending ACL injury in the first match of his final year. The Holland, Michigan, native also spent three seasons with the Indiana Invaders in the PDL, where he registered 14 goals in 16 matches. As a result of his efforts with the Invaders, Mena was named to the PDL All-Central Conference team in 2011.
