Emiliano Dudar

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2011: Dudar made a successful recovery from his concussion injury and played 24 matches for BSC Young Boys during the 2011 campaign.

2010: Dudar was transferred to BSC Young Boys (Swiss Super League), where he would enjoy playing time in both the Swiss and Europa League (formerly known as UEFA Cup). He was a regular starter for Young Boys (31 matches) before suffering a severe concussion during a Europa League contest against FC Basel on 9/12/10. The defender was placed into a medically induced coma for one day and was then sidelined from the pitch for three months.

2009: Emiliano returned to Argentina and had a brief stay at Olimpo (second division), a club based in the city of Bahía Blanca. The experienced defender made 13 appearances (two starts) before returning to Switzerland. Back in Europe, Dudar joined Bellinzona of the Swiss Super League, where he played 16 matches and notched two goals.

2008: Dudar made his European debut with FC Chiasso of the Swiss Challenge League (second division). The Buenos Aires native played 14 matches and scored three tallies.

2006-07: After a brief stay in Paraguay, Dudar moved to Brazil to play in one of the country’s most popular clubs, Vasco da Gama. The Argentine center back played two campaigns for the Rio de Janeiro side and made 17 appearances (two starts).

2005: Dudar was sent on loan to Libertad of Paraguay’s first division. He spent one season in Asunción, but did not see any playing time.

2004: The six-foot-three defender continued his path in Argentina’s Primera División on loan with Banfield, a historic club located in the south of Buenos Aires. He played two matches (no starts) during his time with “El Taladro”.

2003: Dudar left the Liniers neighborhood to go on loan to Independiente, one of Argentina’s biggest clubs. He played 16 (three starts) matches and scored one goal with “El Rojo”.

1999-2003: Dudar made his professional debut with Vélez Sarsfield (Argentine first division), after climbing up the club’s youth ranks. Although he was never a regular starter during his four years at Vélez, he made 46 (17 starts) appearances and tallied five goals for the Buenos Aires side.
