FC Dallas signed defender Eddie Munjoma as its 27th Homegrown on January 13, 2020.

2021: Munjoma appeared in 12 MLS regular season matches and started in five of those, played a total of 460 minutes. Recorded his one and only assist after setting up Jáder Obrian’s second goal in the clubs 2-3 loss to Texas rival Houston Dynamo on September 18. Munjoma also made 10 appearances and starts in USL League One for North Texas SC, accumulating a total of 926 minutes played. Munjoma contributed with three goals and an assist in the 2021 season. Scored one of the four goals in the 4-1 win vs. rival Forward Madison FC on July 10. Also scored a goal in the 1-1 tie vs. Chattanooga Red Wolves SC on August 17. His third goal was against New England II in a 4-1 win on October 23. Appeared two times in the USL League One Team of the Week in weeks 14 and 20.Â

2020:* Appeared in five USL League One matches (started in 5) for North Texas SC this season, played 429 minutes. Made is North Texas SC debut on October 7 vs. Chattanooga Red Wolves SC. Scored his first professional goal in the 45th minute on October 10 vs. Richmond Kickers. Scored on the final match of the season vs. South Georgia Tormenta FC and recorded hist first professional assist as well.
College
Played all four seasons at Southern Methodist University, scoring 12 goals and adding 22 assists in 66 appearances. During his time at SMU, Munjoma was named to Top Drawers Soccer’s Top 11 honors in 2015, East Region First Team Selection by United Soccer Coaches and to the All-America list College Soccer News in 2019, as well as, AAC defensive player of the year after being part of the SMU backline that allowed just 0.78 goals per game, 16th fewest in the nation. He was also a 2019 MAC Hermann semifinalist, an accolade won by current head coach Luchi Gonzalez in 2001.
National team
Earned a call-up to the U.S. U-19 National Team in 2016.
FC Dallas Academy
Munjoma joined the FC Dallas Academy in 2011 and led the FC Dallas U-16 Academy team to the 2015 US Soccer Development Academy National Championship.
