TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Rumor
Even with the LA Galaxy eliminated from the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs, superstar striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic remains in the spotlight.
With his future very much up in the air, fans are awaiting news to see if the Swede will return to Los Angeles in a Galaxy kit next season. On Tuesday, Ibrahimovic flamed the rumor mill with a video on Instagram: "Hola España. Guess what? I'm coming back."
Maybe he's ready to return to La Liga. Or maybe he's going on a post-season vacation. Or ... who knows! Zlatan does know how to grab attention.
Ibra featured for Barcelona for a season in 2009/10 where he had 22 goals and 13 assists in 46 games.
The well-traveled superstar started his professional career at Malmo in 1999 and went on to play for Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, PSG and Manchester United before joining the Galaxy in 2018. He has been linked with a return to Serie A as his future continues to be pondered.
