New York City FC continued their busy preseason itinerary with a friendly against Atletico San Luis Tuesday night, falling 3-0 to the Mexican second-division side at Estadio Alfonso Lastras as coach Patrick Vieira mixed a few academy prospects and new faces in with his likely first-team starters for 2018.
Goals would prove hard to come by for City, however. Matias Catalan opened the scoring for the hosts in the 4th minute, Jahir Barraza made it 2-0 10 minutes after the interval and Jonathan Dos Santos completed the scoring on the hour mark.
