The end of the 2015 MLS regular season on Sunday, October 25, 2015 marked the first Decision Day in MLS history, which determined:
- who earned the final Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoff berths;
- who got the Knockout Round playoff byes;
- who got to host the single-elimination Knockout Round matches;
- who won the 2015 Supporters' Shield;
- who took the 2015 Golden Boot;
- who qualified for the 2016-'17 CONCACAF Champions League.
And because so much was riding on Decision Day, all the key matches kicked off at the same time with four matches at 5 pm ET and then six more starting at 7 pm ET.
