Alejandro Pozuelo belongs to an elite club, the 2019 MLS Best XI, and he found out the news from a special source.
Toronto FC released a video of Pozuelo's young son drawing a picture of his papa and writing out the good news (with a little help from a grown-up).
The Spaniard, who jumped into the fray with TFC a few weeks into the season after a transfer from Belgian club Genk, notched 12 goals and 12 assists in 30 regular-season games this year, and has continued those exploits with stellar play so far in the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs. Pozuelo and company will look to continue their run all the way to the MLS Cup final when they face Atlanta United on Wednesday in the Eastern Conference Final (8 pm ET | FS1 in US; TSN1/4, TVAS in Canada).
