Vote now for MLS Save of the Week: Week 4

2014 Save of the Week (Week 4)

Week 4 brought a flurry of clutch goals across MLS, but there were just as many pivotal saves over the weekend as well – so which of these top five contenders will earn your vote for the latest MLS Save of the Week award?

Sean Johnson got Saturday started with a strong block on Perry Kitchen in Chicago's 2-2 draw with D.C. United. Andrew Weber had the tough task of filling in for the suspended Donovan Ricketts for the Portland Timbers as they visited league leaders FC Dallas, but Weber was razor-sharp with his kick save on Blas Perez.

Seattle's Stefan Frei also got a well-deserved nod for his denial of Federico Higuain, while his opposite number Steve Clark's stop on Lamar Neagle was just one of several outstanding saves for the Crew 'keeper. On Sunday it was Dan Kennedy's turn to shine, with an athletic parry of a Dax McCarty volley.
