Vote for Save of the Week: Week 24
As if life isn't already difficult enough for goalkeepers, now field players are making another run at their weekly award.
The latest Save of the Week race features two field players, Sheanon Williams of the Philadelphia Union and Chicago Fire striker Chris Rolfe, both of whom bailed their teams out with stellar goal-line blocks — no hands required.
But there's plenty of excellent glove work on offer, too. Perennial SOTW star Dan Kennedy has been nominated along with a Cascadia duo: Seattle veteran Marcus Hahnemann and Vancouver Whitecaps newcomer David Ousted.
