The US men's national team will cap off their annual January camp with a friendly against Trinidad and Tobago on January 31 at Orlando's Exploria Stadium. The game, the team's first of 2021, will be broadcast on FS1 with kickoff scheduled for 7 pm ET.
Trinidad and Tobago are a frequent opponent for the USMNT, with the US boasting a 19-3-4 record since 1982. The last time the two teams faced off was in the 2019 Gold Cup group stage, when the USMNT won 6-0.
The match kicks off a busy 2021 for the USMNT, with the Nations Cup, the Gold Cup and World Cup qualifying on the schedule. There will also be overlap with the U-23 team, who have the Olympic qualifying tournament coming up in March.
Fans will be allowed at the match, but attendance will be capped at 4,500 to account for COVID-19 protocols. It is the latest match US Soccer is holding in Florida, which has quickly become the federation's designated location to have camps and games during the pandemic. The USMNT played its first game at home since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic at Inter Miami CF Stadium, while the US women's national team is playing games this month and next month at Exploria Stadium.
