UEFA Champions League final: CONCACAF’s Keylor Navas lifts trophy

Keylor Navas saves penalty kick vs Greece

After a heart-stopping UEFA Champions League final—a draw in regulation time lasting through two extratime periods, and then a penalty-kick shootout—Real Madrid have lifted their 11th UCL trophy.

But this also marks a big moment for CONCACAF—Costa Rica’s Keylor Navas, arguably the best goalkeeper in the federation, of course, figured on the winning squad.

And three more trophy-winners from the final will now head to the US to play in the upcoming Copa America Centenario. Besides Navas, Casemiro will play for Brazil, and James Rodriguez will figure once again for Colombia.

The first of these to play will be Navas, when Costa Rica plays Paraguay on Sat., June 4 (5 pm ET, FOX).
