NEW YORK — MLS is hitting Canada with more force than ever in 2012.
The TSN and RDS networks will kick off their second season as MLS' official broadcasters in Canada with a scintillating all-Canadian matchup between the Vancouver Whitecaps and MLS debutants Montreal Impact on March 10 and will follow it up with 35 more matches throughout the 2012 season.
Both networks will feature the home openers of Toronto FC, Vancouver and Montreal, including the June 16 opening of the Impact's Saputo Stadium; five all-Canadian matches; the MLS All-Star game; and the MLS Cup Playoffs.
In addition to the extensive coverage of the three Canadian clubs, TSN and RDS will add additional games featuring only US-based teams to their broadcast schedule in the coming weeks.
