Will Yaya Toure be the next global superstar to come to MLS?
That's the word out of England, with speculation mounting that the midfielder will depart Manchester City at the end of the season with Pep Guardiola joining the club at the start of the 2016-17 season.
According to a report from The Star on Thursday, multiple MLS clubs are interested in signing Toure, with the New York Red Bulls and Orlando City being named as potential destinations.
The report also notes that Toure is said to prefer a move to North America over a potential move to China, where a number of high-profile transfers have taken place in recent weeks.
Toure, 32, is a four-time African Footballer of the Year, and has won a slew of trophies in his career to date, including league titles with Man City, Barcelona and Olimpiacos, the Champions League with Barcelona and the Africa Cup of Nations with the Ivory Coast.
