Minnesota United FC hope their early-season away success continues when they head to BMO Field to face a Toronto FC side coming off their first defeat of the 2019 season Friday night.
The Loons are coming off a wild 3-3 draw against New York City FC in the opening of Allianz Field, while the Reds fell to Seattle Sounders FC, 3-2, in an entertaining open showdown at CenturyLink Field in Week 7.
There's been just two all-time meetings, but both were high-scoring affairs decided by a single goal with Minnesota United winning 4-3 last year at home and TFC claiming a 3-2 victory in the first all-time meeting in 2017.
