The MLS Disciplinary Committee has issued fines to a total of four players from Toronto FC and the Montreal Impact, as well as both clubs, for actions taken during Week 25 of the MLS season.
Toronto-Montreal mass confrontation
The Disciplinary Committee found both Toronto FC and the Montreal Impact in violation of the league's Mass Confrontation Policy for an incident in the 43rd minute of the teams' game on August 27.
Toronto midfielder Michael Bradley was assessed an undisclosed fine for his role in escalating the incident, his second offense of the season.
Montreal players Laurent Ciman, Hassoun Camara and Kyle Bekker have each been issued an undisclosed fine for violating league policy regarding hands to the face, head or neck of an opponent.
In addition to the players, each club was fined an undisclosed amount for violating the Mass Confrontation Policy.
