Houston holds a 7-2-5 edge in the all-time series between the Dynamo and FC Dallas, which renews Saturday night at Robertson Stadium. At home, the Dynamo's edge is even more drastic, with orange-clad fans cheering the Dynamo to a 6-0-2 mark at home against FC Dallas, including their dramatic overtime playoff win in 2007.
Here's a look at the top five games in the history of the rivalry:
5. June 3, 2007 - Dynamo 2, Dallas 1 (Robertson Stadium)
After falling behind to Dallas in Houston for the first time ever, the Dynamo recovered with a fierce shot from Ricardo Clark and a breakaway tally from Joseph Ngwenya after great passing from Corey Ashe and Clark. Goalkeeper Pat Onstad then alertly came off his line and committed a foul outside of the penalty area, earning a red card but saving the scoring chance and the 2-1 lead.

4. September 30, 2007 - Dynamo 3, Dallas 0 (Pizza Hut Park)
This game had just about everything: goals, controversy and a shutout defense. The Dynamo rolled to a 3-0 road win behind goals from Dwayne De Rosario, Eddie Robinson and Stuart Holden, with Houston's orange-clad fans out-cheering their Dallas counterparts. But the game's lasting image came in the final minutes, when Dallas pest Carlos Ruiz was on the receiving end of a retaliatory kick from the Dynamo's Ricardo Clark on a play that saw both players sent off.

3. April 6, 2008 - Dynamo 3, Dallas 3 (Robertson Stadium)
Although the Dynamo were not happy with the result in their home MLS opener last season, its dramatic conclusion makes it worthy of a spot in the top five. After taking a 1-0 lead through Franco Caraccio, the Dynamo fell behind 2-1. Houston tied it when Geoff Cameron forced an own goal, only to see Dallas re-take the lead seconds later. But Cameron was ready again in stoppage time, powering a shot into the top right corner in the 93rd minute to salvage a draw.

The teams' first meeting was also one of their most memorable, with the Dynamo jumping out to a 3-0 lead behind a long-range shot from Ricardo Clark and goals from Brian Ching and Dwayne De Rosario in the first half. After Dallas closed to within 3-2, De Rosario put the game away when he ran onto a Brad Davis pass, eluded Dario Sala and slid the ball into the corner while falling to the ground.

1. November 2, 2007 - Dynamo 4, Dallas 1, ET (Robertson Stadium)
A no-brainer. The most important and dramatic game in series history also went the Dynamo's way, with Houston winning 2-1 in regulation on a pair of second-half goals to force overtime in the aggregate series. The Dynamo then scored twice in the first 10 minutes of overtime, once from Brian Ching and once on a Brad Davis free kick, en route to a 4-1 win on the night that began Houston's run to the 2007 MLS Cup championship.
