Week 6 was a week of close results punctuated by a few blowouts in MLS, and as a result a few teams dominated the Team of the Week presented by Audi.
The New England Revolution, fresh off a 4-0 win over the Montreal Impact, and Atlanta United, posting a 5-0 win over LAFC, lead the way, alongside Sporting Kansas City after their road win.
Audi Player Index Spotlight
The spotlight player this week is Sporting KC goalkeeper Tim Melia, who broke a club record with 10 saves in a 2-0 road win over the LA Galaxy. Melia earned the Audi Player Index Performance of the Week, picking up 1,119 points, best in MLS. Melia parried five saves safely, earning 225 points, and four saves inside the box for 182 points. Melia also completed 31 of 32 passes in his own half.
