Team of the Week presented by Audi: Diego Valeri shines in Week 16

There were just six games in Week 16 of the 2019 MLS regular season, but there were still plenty of sparkling performances, something reflected in the Team of the Week presented by Audi.

Two teams, FC Dallas and the Portland Timbers, posted big wins and unsurprisingly those teams lead the way in terms of selections on the week.

Audi Player Index Spotlight

This week's spotlight player is Portland Timbers midfielder Diego Valeri, who had a goal and three assists in a 4-0 rout over the Houston Dynamo on Saturday. He picked up 1,109 points, best in MLS for the week.

In addition to the goal and assists, Valeri had six key passes, won 100 percent of his tackles and completed 81 percent of his passes in the opposition half.
