The average resale price of an MLS Cup ticket was $622 on Tuesday and it stayed high throughout the week, clocking in at $569 on Friday and $517 on Sunday. Those numbers make 2019 MLS Cup the most in-demand MLS event ever tracked by the company and one of the most in-demand sporting events ever in Seattle.
In fact, the most recent $569 average resale price is the third highest for any sporting event in Seattle tracked by SeatGeek, trailing just the 2014 and 2015 NFC Championship games:

Who exactly has been buying these MLS Cup tickets on resale? SeatGeek says the biggest wave of demand has arrived via Washington state, but buyers from all 50 states and Canada have searched for MLS Cup tickets.
For those who succeeded in landing a ticket, they'll be part of the second-largest MLS Cup crowd ever, following the 73,019 fans who were present at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta last year to watch the home team beat the Portland Timbers.
The match will also surpass the Sounders' record attendance figure by roughly 2,000, harkening back to when 67,385 fans watched Seattle face Cascadia rivals Portland Timbers in August 2013.
