LA Galaxy midfielder Sebastian Lletget left Sunday night's match vs. New England with what could prove yet another costly injury, limping out in the opening minutes due to what the Galaxy described as "left hamstring irritation."
Grimacing in obvious frustration and disappointment, Lletget walked off the pitch in the 8th minute. The setback comes just one day after he was named to the US national team's roster for Wednesday's friendly vs. Jamaica at Audi Field in Washington, D.C. (7 pm ET | FS1, UniMás, UDN).
A regular member of the US player pool dating back to his youth national team days, Lletget has seen his career disrupted time and time again by a range of injuries over the years. Up until Sunday, he was an ever-present part of the Galaxy's midfield this season, and has a goal and two assists thus far in 2019.
