TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
Toronto FC have completed a transfer deal for Kevin Silva to bring the US goalkeeper back to North America after a spell in Scotland, according to an announcement from his club Heart of Midlothian FC on Sunday.
Silva, 22, was born in Pennsylvania and played youth soccer at New Jersey-based club Players Development Academy before two NCAA seasons at UCLA. He transferred to Rutgers in 2018, but signed a two-year professional contract with Hearts before the start of that year's college season.
He has yet to make a first-team appearance for Hearts and spent several months in Toronto last summer on a loan stint with TFC II, the Reds' USL affiliate team.
