Unlike the AT&T MLS Goal of the Week voting, which is all but decided, the Save of the Week race for Week 31 is going down to the wire.
The Philadelphia Union's Andre Blake and the New York Red Bulls' Luis Robles are neck and neck, with Blake holding a slight edge with 39.71 percent of votes cast through Wednesday, compared to Robles' 38.23.
The domination by Blake and Robles has left the other three competititors all well off the pace. The Columbus Crew SC's Steve Clark ranks third so far with 8.8 percent of the vote, followed by New England's Bobby Shuttleworth at 7.46 percent and the LA Galaxy's Donovan Ricketts at 5.79 percent.
Can Robles catch Blake to win a second honor in three weeks? Or will the Philadelphia youngster continue his late-season surge? Have your say by voting now!
Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursdays. For complete coverage of the MLS Save of the Week award – including an archive of all of this season’s nominees and winners – click here.
