2019 MLS Regular Season - Week 8
San Jose Earthquakes vs. Sporting Kansas City
Avaya Stadium — San Jose
April 20 - 10:00 PM ET
STREAMING: MLS LIVE on ESPN+ in US, DAZN in Canada
Sporting Kansas City will try and extend an unbeaten streak to six games when they head to Avaya Stadium to meet a San Jose Earthquakes side that has won just once in their first six games.
The Quakes couldn't build momentum from a 3-0 win over the Portland Timbers in Week 5 and fell to the Houston Dynamo, 2-1, last Saturday. Meanwhile, Gianluca Busio scored for a third consecutive game to secure a 2-2 home draw for SKC against the New York Red Bulls.
Sporting won the last meeting between the Western Conference foes, a 5-1 triumph in September in which Gerso struck for a brace.
