Could a young international goalkeeper make his way to MLS?
That's a possibility, according to a report from Greek outlet The National Herald, which claims goalkeeper Stefanos Kapino has received an offer to join an MLS team.
Kapino, 23, currently plays for perpetual Greek Superleague champion Olympiacos, but has not taken charge of the No. 1 spot. The club has reportedly transfer listed him, but with the European windows closed until the summer, potential destinations like Newcastle United, rumored to be a possibility around the turn of the year, are closed for the time being.
The report says Kapino has been mulling over the option of joining MLS. The 'keeper, also a Greek international who has been battling to be established starter for his country, has previously played in Germany for Mainz and in his native country for Panathinaikos, and reportedly wants to find a destination where he'll get regular playing time.
