Revolution announce TV and radio schedule

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution today announced its television and radio broadcast schedule for the 2006 MLS regular season. For the 11th consecutive year, every Revolution regular season match will be televised. New England is the only MLS club to have every game in its history on television.


WB56 and Fox Sports Net New England will once again be the primary carriers of Revolution soccer, ensuring quality telecasts and maximum exposure. This is the seventh season that WB56 will broadcast Revolution games and the ninth year for Fox Sports Net. Also this season, four Revolution regular-season games will be carried nationally on ESPN2 as part of MLS' primary national television package.


This season, Kraft Sports Productions will again produce every regionally televised Revolution match. Revs broadcasts in 2006 will also be enhanced by an innovative, cutting edge replay feature that allows fans to have multiple looks at important plays without missing live action. KSP also will introduce a dynamic new graphical look to the Revolution telecasts for 2006.


The Revolution is also committed to the best in live game radio coverage. Again this season Boston's Sportsradio 850 WEEI AM, the 50,000-watt market leader, will be the primary carrier for Revs radio along with WEEI 103.7 FM in Providence and WVEI 1440 AM in Worcester. Conflicting games will be broadcast on WEEI's sister station, WRKO 680 AM. All WEEI and WRKO games can also be heard streaming live on www.revolutionsoccer.net. All 32 Revolution regular season games will again be broadcast on radio and on the web.
