The first FIFA window of the new year is here and over 70 MLS players have been called into their national teams.
Here’s a full list of results for all the non-American and Canadian players during the window.
Albania at Luxembourg (3/29)
Colorado Rapids striker Shkelzen Gashi went the full 90 for Albania in their 2-0 friendly win at Luxembourg on Tuesday.
Cameroon at South Africa (3/29)
New York Red Bulls striker Anatole Abang started for Cameroon, who stayed atop Group M in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying with a scoreless draw at South Africa. Columbus Crew SC midfielder Tony Tchani – who made his Cameroon debut on Saturday – did not see any action in Durban.
Costa Rica vs. Jamaica (3/29)
After drawing in Kingston on Friday, Costa Rica took it to the Reggae Boyz in San Jose on Tuesday night, beating the island nation 3-0. A total of 12 MLS players featured in the match, with Montreal Impact midfielder Johan Venegas coming off the bench and scoring Costa Rica’s final goal in the 77th minute. Kendall Waston (VAN), Cristian Bolaños (VAN) and Ronald Matarrita (NYC) all started for Los Ticos, with Alvaro Saborio (DC) playing 10 minutes off the bench. Seven MLS players saw action for Jamaica, with Andre Blake (PHI), Demar Phillips (RSL), Kemar Lawrence (NY), Alvas Powell (POR) and Je-Vaughn Watson (NE) all starting and Darren Mattocks (POR) and Jermaine Taylor (POR) both coming off the bench.
The result extended Costa Rica’s lead atop CONCACAF qualifying’s Group B to three points, and left the Reggae Boyz in third-place, three points behind Panama for the second spot.
Honduras vs. El Salvador (3/29)
All three MLS players called to Honduras started on Tuesday night, with Houston’s Boniek Garcia scoring the game-winning goal in the 54th minute and Sporting KC’s Roger Espinoza and Dallas’ Maynor Figueroa both going the full 90 in Los Catrachos’ 2-0 win over El Salvador in San Pedro Sula. Orlando’s Darwin Ceren played the whole match for the visitors.
It was a big win for Honduras, who jumped ahead of Canada for second-place in Group A of CONCACAF qualifying. El Salvador are now in fourth in the group with two points, two behind Honduras and Canada.
Panama vs. Haiti (3/29)
All four MLS players involved in this one got the start, with San Jose Earthquakes midfielders Anibal Godoy and Alberto Quintero and Vancouver Whitecaps forward Blas Perez featuring in Panama’s 1-0 home win over Sporting KC’s Soni Mustivar and Haiti.
The result vaulted Panama into sole possession of second-place in CONCACAF qualifying’s Group B. Los Canaleros will clinch a berth in the Hex with a home win against Jamaica on Sept. 2. The loss all but eliminated Haiti from moving on to the next round of qualifying – they’re in last in the group with just one point.
Ireland vs. Slovakia (3/29)
Neither LA Galaxy captain Robbie Keane nor Colorado Rapids forward Kevin Doyle featured in Ireland’s 2-2 friendly draw against Slovakia on Tuesday, as both are currently dealing with injuries.
Nigeria at Egypt (3/29)
Portland Timbers forward Fanendo Adi did not see the field as Nigeria were officially eliminated from contention for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in their 1-0 loss at Egypt on Tuesday.
St. Kitts and Nevis vs. Antigua and Barbuda (3/29)
FC Dallas’ Atiba Harris went the full 90 minutes for St. Kitts and Nevis as they topped Antigua and Barbuda 1-0 in Caribbean Cup qualifying.
Trinidad and Tobago vs. St. Vincent and the Grenadines (3/29)
A pair of MLS players found the back of the net for Trinidad and Tobago in their 6-0 home win against St. Vincent and the Grenadines, with Seattle Sounders defender Joevin Jones scoring in the 49th minute before Orlando City’s Kevin Molino tallied in the 66th. Colorado Rapids defender Mekeil Williams also saw the field for the Soca Warriors, while Sounders forward Oalex Anderson went the full 90 for Vincy Heat.
Mexico U-23s at Portugal U-23s (3/28)
Neither FC Dallas’ Jesse Gonzalez nor Houston Dynamo’s Erick Torres featured for the Mexico U-23s in their 4-0 loss to the Portugal U-23s on Monday.
Ghana at Mozambique (3/27)
Columbus Crew SC defender Harrison Afful got the start for Ghana, as they cinched up a spot in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations with a scoreless draw at Mozambique on Sunday. Chicago Fire forward David Accam and Portland Timbers goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey did not see the field for the Black Stars.
Albania at Austria (3/26)
Colorado Rapids striker Shkelzen Gashi didn't see any action as Albania lost 2-1 at Austria.
Cameroon vs. South Africa (3/26)
Columbus Crew SC midfielder Tony Tchani made his debut for Cameroon on Saturday, cap-tying him to his home country. Tchani previously played once for the USMNT during a January friendly against Iceland. But because Saturday's match counted towards international competition -- it was a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier -- he's now committed to Cameroon for the future. New York Red Bulls forward Anatole Abang also earned his first cap for Cameroon.
St. Vincent & the Grenadines vs. Trinidad & Tobago (3/25)
Orlando City SC midfielder Kevin Molino made his return to the Trinidad & Tobago national team on Friday night as his team defeated St. Vincent & the Grenadines 3-2. Seattle Sounders teammates Joevin Jones and Oalex Anderson started for opposite sides as Jones scored Trinidad & Tobago's opener in the 58th minute.
Nigeria vs. Egypt (3/25)
Portland Timbers forward Fanendo Adi did not appear in this Africa Cup of Nations qualifier as the Super Eagles drew 1-1 with Egypt.
Mexico U-23 vs. Japan U-23 (3/25)
Already qualified for the Olympics, the Mexican Under-23 national team faced off against Japan in a friendly. FC Dallas goalkeeper Jesse Gonzalez played the second half, while Houston Dynamo forward Erick "Cubo" Torres played the first as Mexico fell 2-1 to Japan.
Ireland vs. Switzerland (3/25)
Kevin Doyle started for Ireland in a friendly against Switzerland but was forced to leave the game due to a leg injury in the 27th minute.
El Salvador vs. Honduras (3/25)
All three MLS players called up by Honduras saw the field against El Salvador as Los Catrachos were unable to collect all three points due to an 89th-minute equalizer. Roger Espinoza (SKC) and Maynor Figueroa (DAL) started while Boniek Garcia (HOU) came off the bench in the 64th minute. Orlando City SC midfielder Darwin Ceren started and played 90 minutes for El Salvador.
Haiti vs. Panama (3/25)
In a game that saw four MLS players take the field, no team was able to make their mark on the scoreboard. Sporting Kansas City midfielder Soni Mustivar started for Haiti as San Jose Earthquake teammates Alberto Quintero and Anibal Godoy started for Panama. Vancouver Whitecaps forward Blas Perez came off the bench for Los Canaleros in the 76th minute.
Costa Rica vs. Jamaica (3/25)
In a game filled with MLS players, Costa Rica and Jamaica played to a 1-1 draw in Kingston. New England Revolution defender Je-Vaughn Watson was the goalscorer for Jamaica, starting along with Andre Blake (PHI), Demar Phillips (RSL), Alvas Powell (POR) and Kemar Lawrence (NY). Ronald Matarrita (NYC) and Kendall Waston (VAN) started for Costa Rica, while Christian Bolaños (VAN) and Alvaro Saborio (DC) came off the bench.

In Africa Cup of Nations qualifying, Ghana defeated Mozambique 3-1 in Accra. Harrison Afful started for the Black Stars and received positive reviews for his performance.
Oman vs. Guam (3/24)
In AFC World Cup qualifying, AJ DeLaGarza's Guam squad were eliminated from contention after a 1-0 loss. The LA Galaxy defender started and played 90 minutes.
