TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
Jhon Murillo appears to be back on Major League Soccer’s radar.
A year after Columbus Crew SC reportedly made a big offer for the Venezuelan striker, Portuguese newspaper A Bolareported that the 22-year-old’s most likely next destination is MLS.
Murillo signed with Portugal club Benfica in 2015 but has spent the last three years on loan in Portugal and Turkey. The report states Benfica would rather loan or transfer him to an unnamed MLS club than have him suit up for them.
Murillo scored four goals with Turkish club Kasimpasa last year and has scored twice in 10 caps with the Venezuelan national team.
