TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
After just a few months at Toronto FC, it looks like Lucas Janson's stay north of the border will not be extending into 2019.
Janson was acquired on loan with option to buy from Tigre in August and scored four goals in 11 appearances, including one in his debut and a brace against Atlanta United on Decision Day presented by AT&T. His loan expired on Dec. 31 and according to Facu Sanches, TFC won't be exercising Janson's transfer option.
Janson, 24, was added using Targeted Allocation Money and had spent the previous six seasons at Tigre, where he had 10 goals and 10 assists over 82 Argentinian league appearances.
