TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:Report
Toronto FC, coming off a historic treble-winning season, haven't made many moves this offseason, but could be planning ahead.
Reports emerged on Thursday that the defending MLS Cup champions were looking at Argentine midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, with Argentine journalist Cesar Luis Merlo claiming that TFC had made a multi-million dollar offer for the player:
Mac Allister, 19, has spent his entire career to date at Argentinos Juniors. Making his debut in 2016, he helped the storied club win promotion to the first division in 2017 and has most recently been playing in the top flight with them. Interestingly, he has two brother, Francis and Kevin, and all three currently play for Argentinos Juniors.
A new report emerged on Friday from the Toronto Sun's Kurt Larson, saying TFC are interested in Alexis Mac Allister, but the team has not yet put in a bid for him and would not bring him in until the summer window or next winter.
