TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
US international Terrence Boyd is reportedly considering a move to North America, and could land in Toronto.
That is according to ESPN's Jeff Carlisle, who reported on Friday that Boyd is in negotiations with MLS to move to the league, with Toronto FC said to be showing interest in the forward.
Boyd, 27, has spent his career to date in Germany and Austria, including stints in the ranks at Hertha Berlin, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig. He's found the most success in Austria with Rapid Wien and German second-division club Darmstadt, where he's been since 2017.
The forward has 14 caps for the US national team, but injuries, including a torn ACL, have limited his prospects in recent years.
Toronto FC will begin Concacaf Champions League play on Feb. 19 against Club Atletico Independiente.
