TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
A new report out of Sweden contends that New York City FC's offseason roster upgrades include a right back with UEFA Champions League pedigree.
Expressen reported on Monday that NYCFC have signed Anton Tinnerholm, a Swedish defender who most recently played reigning Allsvenskan (Swedish top flight) champions Malmö.
Tinnerholm, who turns 27 in February, is a capped Sweden international who has been a regular for Malmö since joining the club in 2014 from Åtvidaberg. The report states that he's out of contract and "wanted a new challenge in his career."
