TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
A US youth international might be on his way back to MLS.
According to the Washington Post's Steven Goff, NYCFC have acquired the MLS rights for left back Chris Gloster from the New York Red Bulls. The New Jersey native spent several years in RBNY's academy before heading to Europe.
Gloster, 20, is currently with PSV's second team after originally heading to Germany to sign with Hannover. He has yet to make his first team debut with either club, though PSV's second team plays in the Dutch second tier where he has made 22 appearances.
A regular with various US youth international sides, Gloster represented the country at both the U-17 and U-20 World Cups. He has appeared with the U-23s as well.
NYCFC traded starting fullback Ronald Matarrita to FC Cincinnati this winter and signed Danish left back Malte Amundsen.
