A report out of Chile has the Montreal Impact chasing 20-year-old forward Jeisson Vargas, who's under contract with Serie A side Bologna, where Impact owner Joey Saputo is Chairman and majority shareholder.
Vargas' loan to Universidad Católica has come due, and while Los Cruzados aim to extend, they've acknowledged Bologna leadership might have other plans, namely re-routing Vargas to Montreal. Vargas has spent time up top, mostly on the left wing, and has scored one goal in the current campaign.
