Club América are getting competition from MLS teams for forward Oribe Peralta.
Mexican outlet Record reported early on Thursday that Peralta, 33, has received offers from teams in MLS. His contract with Club América will expire in 2018, and the club are working on an extension for the Mexican national team striker back.
Peralta has been with America since 2014, recording 52 goals in 124 appearances with the Liga MX giants. A member of Mexico’s squad at the 2014 World Cup and an overage member of the El Tri team that won the 2012 Olympic gold medal, Peralta has 25 goals in 62 career appearances for Mexico.
