Add Real Betis winger Cristian Tello as the latest player linked with a move to Inter Miami CF.
Estadio Deportivo in Spain reports the 28-year-old is in advanced negotiations with Inter Miami, though there’s also interest from La Liga sides Celta and Getafe.
Tello's rights are equally split between Betis and Barcelona, where he played from 2011-14 before Neymar’s arrival made him expendable. Tello had a two-year loan spell with FC Porto of the Primeira Liga and then spent a year on loan with Fiorentina in Serie A.
Tello made his return to La Liga when he joined Real Betis in a $4 million move in 2017. Reportedly the club is seeking a $12 million transfer fee.
Tello has appeared in 14 matches for Real Betis this season, with his loan goal coming in the first round of the Copa Del Rey. His last league start was back in October. He’s only seen four substitute appearances totaling 61 minutes in La Liga since, though he’s started in each of the club’s Copa Del Rey matches.
Whether it's Tello or someone else, Inter Miami are bullish on multiple signings in the coming weeks.
