TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:Report
Malmo FF midfielder Oscar Lewicki may soon be headed stateside, according to a report from Sweden's Aftonbladet. The 25-year-old, who has 14 caps with the Sweden national team, is out of contract with his club -- and ostensibly is fielding some interest from MLS. (Another suitor, however, according to the report, is Israel's Maccabi Tel Aviv.)
Lewicki, if he came to MLS, would join a sort of mini Swedish wave of recent signings -- in fact another Malmo star, Anton Tinnerholm, recently signed to NYCFC.
