After a Rocky Mountain Cup road victory, Real Salt Lake return to Rio Tinto Stadium Saturday afternoon to meet a Toronto FC side that couldn't find the back of the net on one of 35 shots Wednesday night in a 0-0 draw against D.C. United.
RSL (4-6-1) moved above the playoff line in the Western Conference with an emotional 3-2 win over rival Colorado Saturday night. Albert Rusnak and Corey Baird scored in quick succession midway through the first half, but Kellyn Acosta and Danny Wilson scored on other side of halftime to equalize. Sam Johnson, though, came up with the winner, scoring his fourth goal in five games.
Toronto FC (5-4-2) dominated in every possible statistical category other than goals scored and had to settle for a frustrating 0-0 draw against D.C. United Wednesday night at BMO Field.
