There weren't many positives for Real Salt Lake to take out of their 4-0 thumping to the New England Revolution, but at least one good thing came out of it.
Thanks to a nine-save performance from backup goalkeeper Jeff Attinella, Real Salt Lake's lopsided road loss to the Revolution was nowhere near as bad as it could've been. Attinella made several impressive stops, including a one-handed dive on a Juan Agudelo shot in the second half that claimed Week 8's Save of the Week honors.
In a close race, Attinella beat out the Vancouver Whitecaps' David Ousted for the award by approximately five percent of the vote. Attinella is the second Real Salt Lake goalkeeper to claim the accolade in 2015 after Nick Rimando, who won it in Weeks 1 and 6.
