Real Salt Lake assistant coach Andy Williams to voluntarily undergo SABH treatment

Andy Williams

Editors' Note: The following is a statement released by Real Salt Lake.

Real Salt Lake assistant coach Andy Williams has been suspended indefinitely, following his recent arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence. Williams has voluntarily agreed to enter a treatment program supervised by Major League Soccer's Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health ("SABH") Program doctors.

Williams, a member of the club as a player, scout and assistant coach since November 2004, will not return to the club until the program is complete, he is cleared for participation by the SABH Program doctors, and Real Salt Lake completes its investigation.
