SALT LAKE CITY
- Real Salt Lake is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of the Real Sports merchandise kiosk in the Valley Fair Mall, located at 3601 S. 2700 W. in West Valley City, tomorrow, Friday, August 17, with the cart officially opening for business at 10:00 a.m. Just like at the flagship Real Sports location at Murray's Fashion Place Mall, which successfully opened last April, fans visiting the Valley Fair Mall location will be able to purchase and order the latest officially licensed Real Salt Lake apparel and merchandise in addition to tickets for all Real Salt Lake home contests, including this Saturday's tilt against the Chicago Fire and the Sept. 19 contest against the Los Angeles Galaxy and international superstar midfielder David Beckham.
The Valley Fair Mall location of Real Sports, located in the mall's center circle area, will be open from 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. from Monday-Saturday and from 12:00-6:00 p.m. on Sundays. Real Sports will have several specials for tomorrow's Valley Fair opening, including select T-shirts for just $10, RSL replica jerseys for $40, and 25% off all current inventory. In addition, Real Salt Lake, Zion's Bank, and 24 Hour Fitness will all have free giveaways for visitors stopping by the kiosk for the opening day festivities.
To help kick off the festivities, KALL 700 Sports host Bill Riley will host a live remote broadcast of "The Bill Riley Show" on location from the newest Real Sports tomorrow from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Riley, the play-by-play voice of RSL's TV and radio broadcasts, will extensively preview Saturday's RSL-Fire clash during the broadcast and also welcome players from the Ligo Latinoamericana and Liga Internacional squads that will square off in the final of the Copa Mexico Under-20 Tournament on Saturday afternoon in Park City.
