Playoff Scenarios: Union, Sporting KC and LAFC earn berths in Week 32

The Philadelphia Union became the latest team in the Eastern Conference to book a ticket to the Audi 2018 MLS Cup Playoffs, joining the ranks of Atlanta United, the New York Red Bulls and New York City FC, who locked up their spots prior to Week 32.


Meanwhile in the Western Conference, Sporting Kansas City and Los Angeles Football Club joined FC Dallas in the postseason, with expansion side LAFC accomplishing the feat in their first season in the league.


Orlando City, Minnesota United and defending MLS Cup champions Toronto FC were all mathematically eliminated from playoff contention in Week 32.
