Portland Timbers, Seattle Sounders, Sporting KC, and Houston Dynamo all clinched a berth in the Audi 2017 MLS Cup Playoffs. Vancouver failed to clinch the number 1 seed in the Western Conference. Real Salt Lake, FC Dallas, and San Jose all remain alive in the playoff chase.
